Facebook game proves power of broadband

Brief: When our friends at BBH were tasked with creating viral content to help Virgin Media promote their broadband services, they asked us to design and deliver a Facebook game based on the classic phone fun, Snake.
Insight: The game used profile pictures from a userʼs list of friends across a wide variety of devices and platforms. This meant significant development and rigorous testing.
Delivery: We designed Snake-a-Mate’s look, feel and gameplay mechanics from the ground up. Fuelled by Facebook, players ‘eat’ their friends’ pictures at rising speeds, demonstrating the power of Virgin Media broadband. Users can post their score and who’s been ‘eaten’ and invite friends to play too. Thanks to some successful seeding activity, the game has performed well to date. Try it for yourself on Facebook.
